International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented Waller Helms Advisors, LLC (Waller Helms), an independent advisory firm with nearly 50 investment professionals that provides investment banking services to clients in the insurance and wealth management sectors, in its pending sale to Houlihan Lokey Inc., a global investment bank.
On a pro forma basis, the combined group ranks as the number one advisor for global M&A transactions in 2023 in the insurance sector, the asset management sector including wealth management and the financial services sector, excluding depositories. The transaction is expected to close in 2024, subject to regulatory approval.
