International law firm McDermott Will & Schulte represented Vouch Inc. (Vouch), in the sale of its specialist insurtech business to Hiscox Group, the Bermuda based and London Stock Exchange listed (LSE:HSX) global specialist insurer. In the transaction, Hiscox is set to acquire Corix Insurance Services, LLC, Vouch’s technology-enabled MGA and Vouch Insurance Company, an Illinois-domiciled stock insurance company. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
Hiscox is accelerating its growth through this strategic acquisition that enhances its broker platform with cutting-edge technology. As part of the deal, Vouch will remain independent and will focus on risk management for tech-forward industries, while partnering with Hiscox in a multi-year distribution agreement.
