International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented Gemspring Capital (Gemspring), a Connecticut-based private equity firm, in the sale of Insurvia, Inc. (Insurvia), a leading franchise-model insurance agency and financial services firm, to an affiliate of Bharcap Partners (Bharcap).
The McDermott team was led by Gregory Metz, Jarrett Szczesny and John Zukin with invaluable support from Richard Tsay, Brandon Sarkauskas, Daniel Zucker, Michael Byrne, Katie Yonover, Patrick Ryan, Nick Paul, Stephania Sanon, Michael Morgan, Doris Yuen, James Mann, Scott Kenkel and Elizabeth Amanieh.
The McDermott finance team also represented Insurvia in the termination of its existing credit facility with Twin Brook Capital Partners, LLC as part of the sale. The McDermott finance team was led by Anh Lee, Matt Celentano, Sam Scaletta and Aileen Requejado.
