Global law firm McDermott Will & Schulte represented Carolina Components Group (CCG), a provider of custom-engineered bioprocessing assemblies and components used in the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals, in connection with an investment by Sheridan Capital Partners (Sheridan).
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Durham, North Carolina, CCG supplies ultra-pure components, custom-engineered single-use assemblies, and process solutions that support highly regulated biopharmaceutical production environments for more than 250 biopharmaceutical and contract manufacturing customers.
The team was led by Fred Levenson, Brad Burcroff and Taylor Berman, with invaluable support from Fadi Mohamed, Elliana Lenz, Samuel Hirsch, Hudson Todd, Wondha Cadet, Greg Heltzer, Payton Thornton, Ty Carson, Kate Vera Coverdale, and Kelly Holloway.
