Michael S. Jaroslawicz focuses his practice on tax matters impacting investment funds and alternative asset managers. He advises fund managers and sponsors on the formation, structuring, and ongoing operation of hedge funds, private equity funds, and other pooled investment vehicles, including both onshore and offshore structures. Michael regularly counsels clients on tax issues arising in connection with investments across a broad range of asset classes, including equities, credit instruments, real estate, and life settlements.

In addition, Michael advises sponsors on transactions involving the acquisition and disposition of portfolio investments, as well as sales and spinoffs of investment management businesses. He works closely with clients to provide practical, business-oriented tax strategies tailored to the needs of sophisticated investment platforms.
