Marina C. Leary advises on matters related to corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance and securities and Delaware corporate and alternative entity laws.
Marina frequently serves as special Delaware counsel in connection with mergers and acquisitions, private placements, public offerings and other commercial transactions involving Delaware corporations and alternative entities. She routinely counsels clients worldwide with respect to transactions and issues under Delaware law and regularly delivers Delaware legal opinions, including with respect to private investment funds, special purpose entities and deal closings.
Prior to joining McDermott Will & Schulte, Marina was an associate at a prominent Delaware law firm where she advised on matters in connection with the formation, operation, governance, reorganization and dissolution of business entities. During law school, Marina was an articles & comments editor for the University of Richmond Law Review.
