Joel C. Rush

Much of Joel’s practice is focused on working with private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in the healthcare services industry, with a particular focus on PPM platforms. On the sell-side, he has extensive experience representing physician practice groups in transactions with private equity sponsors and PPM companies. He also regularly counsels hospital and post-acute provider clients on transactional and regulatory matters, including strategic joint ventures and affiliations.

• Represented Amulet Capital Partners in its acquisition of Theoria Medical. 

• Represented Lee Equity Partners in its partnership with Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) to launch a national cardiovascular platform, Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL) and its subsequent partnerships with Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants, First Coast Cardiovascular Institute, Capital Cardiology Associates, and Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia, building CVL into a national network of physician-led cardiovascular practices. 

• Represented Lee Equity in its acquisition of Bradford Health, a leading substance use disorder treatment provider in the Southeast. 

• Represented TPG in its investments in Tryon Management Group (affiliate of Tryon Medical Partners) and AnovoRx Holdings, Inc. 

• Represented B-Flexion in its acquisition of Allergy Partners Management, the largest business support services platform focused on providing allergy and asthma physician practices with a full range of nonclinical services. 
• Represented Lindsay Goldberg, a New York-based private equity firm, in its acquisition and subsequent sale of PT Solutions, a leading multispecialty provider of physical therapy, and in the subsequent sale of the platform.
