Düsseldorf
Dr. Alexander Hoppe focuses his practice on all aspects of corporate law and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). In particular, he advises clients on cross-border transactions, intra-group corporate reorganizations and joint ventures. Alexander also provides advice on the drafting and negotiation of commercial law agreements.
Following his first state exam, Alexander worked as a legal research assistant at the University of Münster at the Institute for International Business Law, where he received a doctorate with a thesis in the field of corporate law. In addition, Alexander lectured civil law for several years.
Prior to joining the firm, Alexander spent his legal traineeship in Düsseldorf, Copenhagen and New York at a number of notable institutions, including stages at a German Embassy and highly reputable international law firms.
