Dr. Alexander Hoppe focuses his practice on all aspects of corporate law and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
He advises clients on domestic and cross-border corporate transactions, intra-group corporate reorganizations, and joint ventures.
In addition, Dr. Alexander Hoppe advises on the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts.
Since joining the firm, Dr. Alexander Hoppe has spent several months each in McDermott’s London and New York offices.
Before joining McDermott, Dr. Alexander Hoppe worked at the Institute for International Business Law at the University of Münster, where he earned his doctorate with a dissertation in the field of corporate law. He also taught civil law as a lecturer for several years.
