Aymen Mahmoud is a London-based partner who serves as European Head of Finance and Managing Partner of the firm’s London office. He also co-heads both the London Transactions Group and the London Finance, Restructuring and Special Situations Group.

He advises private equity funds and their portfolio companies, hedge funds, corporate borrowers and issuers, banks, direct lenders, family offices and other sophisticated capital providers on complex debt financing transactions.

His award-winning practice spans direct lending, leveraged buyouts, syndicated senior, second lien and mezzanine lending, distressed debt trading, portfolio acquisitions, restructurings, high-yield debt offerings and recurring revenue financings. He also played a key role in establishing Loan Market Association forms for leveraged and high-yield documentation.
