McDermott Represents Ampersand Capital Partners in its Sale of Adaptas Solutions to IMI

International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented Ampersand Capital Partners, a heathcare-focused private equity firm, in the sale of its portfolio company Adaptas Solutions, a manufacturer of mass spectrometry subsystems and components, to IMI plc, a UK-based engineering specialist.

• The transaction was announced on November 15, 2021.
• McDermott acted as legal counsel to Ampersand Capital Partners.
• Adaptas Solutions will become part of IMI’s Precision Fluid OEM Business Unit within IMI Precision Engineering.
