McDermott Will & Schulte advises Mérieux NutriSciences on the acquisition of Certified Group

McDermott Will & Schulte advised Mérieux NutriSciences, a global provider of analytical, safety, quality, and compliance services for the food industry, on its acquisition of Certified Group, a leading North American provider of testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services for the agri-food, cosmetics, dietary supplements, and over-the-counter health products, comprising 31 laboratories, from Warburg Pincus.

This strategic transaction marks a new step in the development of Mérieux NutriSciences and will enable the company to offer its clients a broader range of services as well as enhanced regulatory support through a network of laboratories covering the entire North American region.
