2018 INTA Annual Meeting

McDermott partners Lynne Boisineau, Jennifer Mikulina and counsel Joanne Ludovici each lead a Table Topic sessions at the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 140^th annual meeting in Seattle, Washington, which focused on the increasing importance of trademarks and brands to consumers, companies, and the global economy.

These round-table sessions offered attendees the opportunity to discuss topics of interest over lunch or breakfast with a small group of like-minded professionals. Lynne Boisineau spoke on ‘What is Augmented Reality and How Does it Impact Your Trademarks, Copyrights, and Right of Publicity?’, Jennifer Mikulina lead a session on the ‘Potential Pitfalls in Acquisitions Involving Trademarks’, and Joanne Ludovici discussed ‘The Lifecycle of a Deal Involving Valuable Trademarks.’
