The US privacy law landscape continued to expand and mature this year as additional states enacted new privacy laws, existing laws were amended to address emerging issues, and regulators intensified enforcement activity.  The complex web of privacy law in the United States has only expanded as a result; complicating companies’ compliance efforts.

Join experienced privacy counsel for a practical discussion of the impact of the legislative, regulatory, and enforcement trends shaping privacy compliance in 2026, and what organizations should be watching as they prepare for 2027.

Discussion topics will include:

  • New state privacy laws and notable amendments
  • Evolving requirements related to sensitive data, children’s privacy, age verification, and third-party data sharing
  • Enforcement trends and practical lessons from recent regulatory actions
  • Legislative developments we are watching for in the next year
