Overview
Stefanie Soltwedel has nearly 15 years of experience in complex commercial disputes and sophisticated contractual matters. She advises German and international companies on the structuring, negotiation, and implementation of complex commercial agreements, as well as on the enforcement and defense of claims arising from those agreements. A particular focus of her practice is long-term and commercially sensitive contractual relationships, especially plant construction, supply, procurement, distribution, logistics, and services agreements.
She represents clients in court proceedings and in out-of-court dispute resolution in domestic and cross-border commercial matters. Her experience includes complex damages claims, D&O and contract disputes, real estate-related disputes, and conflicts at the intersection of day-to-day business operations and strategic corporate decision-making. Clients value her ability to identify viable paths forward even in highly complex and entrenched situations, assess litigation risk with precision, and develop commercially sound solutions. She also has particular experience in the strategic preparation and conduct of settlement negotiations, mediations, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, with the goal of achieving durable and commercially advantageous outcomes for her clients.
Her clients include companies in the automotive, retail, consumer goods, industrial, real estate, and financial sectors. She also advises high-net-worth individuals and family offices.
