Overview


Alan LeBlang focuses his practice on health law matters with an emphasis on entities in the managed care space. He routinely advises healthcare payors and providers on transactional matters and helps them navigate complex regulatory schemes. Alan brings extensive experience in government programs, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, and Medicaid managed care, as well as a deep familiarity with state health insurance laws and federal and state laws regulating pharmacy benefit managers.

While in law school, Alan served as a legal extern at a prominent academic medical center. He also was external chief executive editor of the Duke Law & Technology Review, president of the Duke Health Law Society, and co-vice president of the Duke Business Law Society.

Prior to attending law school, Alan worked as a healthcare consultant where he supported various client initiatives to improve the member experience for Medicare, Medicaid, and dual-eligible enrollees.
