David practices in the Finance Group.

During law school, David interned at a personal injury law firm in Richmond Hill, NY, and was a legal intern for the Securities Arbitration Clinic at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Prior to his legal studies, David was an intern at New York-based real estate company Norman Bobrow and Co. in New York.

Represents broker-dealers, hedge funds, and other financial services clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions by the SEC, CFTC, and SROs, including with respect to insider trading, market manipulation and various fraud-based allegations.

Eric also advises on related civil and bankruptcy litigation matters.

Lauren Exnicios focuses her practice on tax issues involving the structuring, formation, and operation of onshore and offshore private investment funds and their managers, with a particular focus on digital asset and credit funds. She counsels prospective investors in private investment vehicles on structuring and negotiating terms of such investments in a tax-efficient manner.

Yana practices in the Litigation Group.

Prior to joining Schulte, Yana was a legal extern at the Office of the General Counsel for the US Agency for Global Media in Washington, DC. Before attending law school, she spent two years as a litigation legal assistant at an Am Law 100 firm in Boston, MA.

Nicholas practices in the Investment Management and Regulatory Compliance Group.

Prior to joining Schulte, Nick worked as a fall scholar at the US Securities and Exchange Commission in their Division of Investment Management’s Rulemaking Office. During law school, he was a legal intern at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General’s Securities Fraud Protection Section. Prior to law school, he was a contract administrator at BAE Systems and a researcher for the International Financial Law Review at Euromoney Institutional Investor in New York.

Cathryn is a member of the Tax Group.

During law school, Cathryn was a legal intern at PIM Brands Inc. in Park Ridge, NJ. Prior to her legal studies, she was a hair stylist and managed a chain of salons in Washington state for many years.
