McDermott Will & Schulte Advises the Founding Family of Domaine de Chezelles on an MBI Alongside NextStage AM

McDermott advised the shareholders of Domaine de Chezelles, a French family-owned business that has specialized for five generations in promoting the benefits of bee products, in connection with the majority management buy-in (MBI) led by Karen Vernet, alongside NextStage AM through its vehicle NextStage Evergreen and the Capital Entrepreneur funds.

Through this transaction, the Hernaez family, who is reinvesting in the company’s capital and will support the transition, is handing over the reins of the Domaine to Karen Vernet, who will become its CEO.
