Frankfurt, February 25, 2025 — McDermott Will & Emery advises global private equity firm Investcorp Technology Partners on the sale of Contentserv Group, a leading provider of product information management (PIM) systems, to Centric Software, a subsidiary of the French Dassault Systèmes.
Contentserv GmbH, headquartered near Munich, Germany, was founded in 2000 and today has 14 locations in Europe, the USA and Asia. With approx. 250 employees, the company serves more than 1,500 brands in 89 countries with its products.
Centric Software GmbH, headquartered in Munich, Germany, provides product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions for numerous industries. Since 2018, the company has been part of the multinational software developer Dassault Systèmes.
Investcorp Technology Partners focuses on investments in growing, European-based technology companies with proven products and end markets.
McDermott regularly advises Investcorp on transactions, including advising the company on its acquisition of a majority stake in Contentserv Group in 2019.
