Munich, September 8, 2025 – McDermott Will & Schulte advised investment manager Barings on the refinancing of the German-based Operasan Group, a portfolio company of funds advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG). Barings is also providing Operasan with a credit facility to finance further acquisitions.
Barings LLC is a global investment manager with over $456 billion in assets under management and more than 2,000 employees worldwide.
Operasan is a medium-sized, innovative company headquartered in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, and with a total of 25 locations, treating over 22,000 patients annually in nephrology, including dialysis. Operasan has been part of the DBAG portfolio since 2021.
The McDermott team was led by partners Ludwig Zesch and Matthias Weissinger and comprised counsel Maximilian Meyer and associate Tim Becker.
