International law firm McDermott Will & Emery is proud to share Kristin Going and Frank Steinherr have been named finalists in the Office Managing Partner of the Year category as part of The New York Law Journal’s New York Legal Awards 2024.

Kristin and Frank were appointed co-managing partners of McDermott’s New York office in 2022 to drive a strategic growth initiative following the Firm’s move to the One Vanderbilt building. Their approach focuses on being indispensable to clients, maintaining high performance standards, fostering accountability and promoting a collaborative culture rooted in transparency and a Firm-first mindset.

Under their leadership, McDermott’s New York office has seen substantial year-over-year growth in both revenue and headcount, becoming a bustling hub that welcomes thousands of visitors annually. Embracing an #AlwaysBetter mentality, the office has also significantly increased its pro bono legal work, volunteer service and charitable contributions through several partnerships.

In addition to their shared responsibilities, Kristin and Frank have maintained successful individual practices focused on restructuring and private equity, respectively.
