PLI Internal Investigations 2023, Chicago

Overview

Paul Helms and Caitlyn Campbell are participating in Practising Law Institute’s (PLI) Internal Investigations 2023 program in Chicago. This is Paul’s first year as a co-chair of the event, after Partner Steve Scholes previously served in the role for many years. The annual program reviews the fundamentals of conducting effective and efficient investigations that will yield successful results for clients and companies.

Paul is delivering the opening remarks with his co-chair and moderating the “Internal Investigations: Regulators Roundtable” panel. Attendees will hear what regulators want to know and how to navigate whistleblower issues, how to maintain dialogue with regulators during an investigation and challenges posed by cooperating with the government.

Caitlyn is also speaking on a panel titled “Concluding the Internal Investigation.” She and her co-panelists are covering best practices for research findings, determining whether to prepare a written report and what to include, memorializing conclusions and more.

The program is available in-person and on-demand. To learn more or register, visit PLI’s website.
