Overview
MiRi Song is a seasoned employment litigator and trial lawyer who represents employers in high-stakes disputes, including single-plaintiff and representative actions. She approaches each matter with a strategic, business-minded focus, helping clients navigate complex litigation and make informed decisions. Her practice includes managing all phases of litigation, from early case assessment through motion practice and trial, while working closely with company leadership to address sensitive workplace issues and mitigate risk.
MiRi brings more than a decade of experience in both government service and private practice to her work. Before joining the firm, she served as an assistant United States attorney in the US District Court for the Central District of California, where she tried and won numerous federal cases, including a seven-week jury trial involving a corporate defendant and its executives. She also briefed appeals and argued before the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, developing a strong foundation in persuasive advocacy, witness examination, and complex case strategy.
In private practice, MiRi has represented companies in a range of employment and commercial disputes, including matters involving restrictive covenants and trade secrets. Her background as a federal prosecutor gives her a distinct advantage in high-pressure litigation, allowing her to anticipate opposing strategies and position clients for favorable outcomes both in and out of the courtroom.
