Schulte Represents JANA Partners in Gaining Board Representation at Outback Steakhouse Owner Bloomin’ Brands

Schulte represented JANA Partners LLC in connection with Bloomin’ Brands. JANA holds an approximately 9% stake in Bloomin’ Brands, owner of the Outback Steakhouse chain. As part of the deal, Bloomin’ Brands agreed to install two JANA candidates to the Bloomin’ Brands board of directors.
The Schulte team advising JANA Partners was led by Ele Klein and Marc Weingarten, Schulte partners and co-chairs of the global Shareholder Activism Group. The team also included special counsel Adriana Schwartz and associates Brandon Gold. Daniel Goldstein and Abraham Schwartz.
