• Israeli-based weSure Global Tech Ltd. (Global Tech)’s sub-subsidiaries weSure Digital Insurance Services Inc. and weSure USA Holdings, Ltd., in its investments from Technology Insurance Company Inc., a subsidiary of multinational insurance holding company, AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. This investment and collaboration will advance Global Tech’s expansion of weSure’s digital operations as a managing general agency into the US market. The transaction closed on August 23, 2022. The McDermott deal team was led by Michael Halsband and included Aroma Sharma, Michael Byrne and Leigh Solomon. McDermott’s involvement with Israeli-based weSure dates back to early 2020 and is part of the firm’s strong commitment to and involvement with the Israeli InsurTech community. The transaction closed on August 12, 2022.
