Ethan M. Heller focuses his practice on corporate and transactional matters, with a specific emphasis on structured transactions involving both traditional and digital asset classes. With a unique focus on regulatory strategies, Ethan assists clients in the documentation of structured finance transactions and synthetic investments. He also has experience in guiding cryptocurrency companies and web3 builders, investors and other market participants through the emerging and rapidly changing regulatory environment. Ethan provides representation to cryptocurrency firms and traditional payment platforms across a broad spectrum of compliance issues, including anti-money laundering, licensing obligations and sanctions.
Ethan regularly assists in the nationwide rollout of cryptocurrency exchanges, FinTech enterprises and other technology companies. His experience offers practical knowledge on banking regulations, money transmitter laws, securities regulations, custodian laws and commodities regulations. Ethan further assists financial service firms and others in negotiating and drafting tailored technology agreements, terms and policies for implementing novel services under various regulatory conditions.
