International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented CHW Acquisition Corporation (CHW), a publicly traded (NASDAQ: CHWA) special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), in its de-SPAC transaction with Wag Labs, Inc. (Wag!), an American pet services marketplace company powering a mobile-first technology platform that enables on-demand and scheduled dog walking, training, and other pet care services.
- The transaction was announced on February 3, 2022 and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022, subject to customary approvals and satisfaction of conditions.
- Upon closing, the combined company will be named Wag! Group Co. and will be listed on the Nasdaq Global Market (NASDAQ) with the ticker symbol “PET.”
