BAG Issues First Ruling on Lockdown

Employers do not bear the operational risk if their stores had to close due to the lockdowns. This also means that they do not have a duty to continue paying mini-jobbers who were unable to work during the tough phases of the pandemic. This was decided by the Federal Labor Court.
