John Heo

John Heo focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and appellate matters.

Prior to joining McDermott Will & Schulte, John served as a law clerk to Judge Cory T. Wilson of the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and to Justice Jimmy Blacklock of the Supreme Court of Texas, where he gained firsthand experience in federal and state appellate litigation. During law school, he served as deputy managing editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy: Per Curiam and vice president of Education & Outreach for the Harvard Federalist Society.
