Eli Humphries

Eli Humphries focuses his practice on advising developers, tax equity partners, and lenders on financing the development, construction, and operation of large-scale projects generating renewable energy and transitional fuels. He has experience working on everything from standalone projects and C&I portfolios to record-breaking projects spanning multiple states.

• Represented the lender group in relation to a $482MM debt facility for the construction and operation of a 300MW energy storage project in California*
• Represented the lender group in relation to a $270MM debt facility for the construction and operation of a BESS project in Texas*
• Represented Developer in relation to a $75MM debt facility for the construction and operation of a solar project in Texas*
• Represented Lender in relation to a $125MM revolving loan to finance the construction and operation of a portfolio of solar projects in Illinois*
• Represented Lender in relation to a $150MM debt facility to finance the construction and operation of a portfolio of solar projects in Virginia*
• Represented the lender group in an $11 billion financing – consisting of an integrated construction loan and letter of credit facility, two term facilities, an operating phase letter of credit facility, an innovative tax equity term loan facility, and a holding company loan facility – for the construction and operation of a major clean energy infrastructure project*
• Represented the lender group in an approximately $7 billion debt financing of a 13 million tonnes per annum liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility, which include two natural gas liquefaction trains, two LNG storage tanks, and associated facilities*
• Represented the lender group in an approximately $5.5 billion debt financing of a major LNG facility expansion project that will include seven midscale trains, one LNG storage tank, and other facilities*
