Surge in third-party funding sparks wave in FTSE shareholder lawsuits, City AM

London Managing Partner Aymen Mahmoud spoke with City AM about the growth of securities litigation in the United Kingdom as third-party litigation funding becomes increasingly prominent.

Aymen pointed to London’s combination of deep capital markets, sophisticated institutional investors, an established disputes system, and a growing litigation funding ecosystem as factors shaping the market.

“The direction of travel in securities litigation is increasingly clear,” Aymen said.
