Obituary for Dr. Sandra Urban-Crell
With deep dismay and great sorrow, we bid farewell to our long-time partner, colleague, and friend
who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 7, 2025, at the age of 51.
Sandra Urban-Crell was an outstanding lawyer, a valued colleague, and a vital support to our firm. Since the founding of McDermott Will & Emery, she significantly shaped our employment law team and our firm – with her professional excellence, helpfulness, and warm-hearted nature. Her sudden loss leaves a great void, both professionally and personally.
Our thoughts are with her husband, daughter, as well as her relatives and friends during these difficult times.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to them.
We will miss Sandra Urban-Crell greatly and will always honor her memory.
