McDermott Represents Apex Clean Energy in the Sale of its Texas Wind Project to Jera America

International law firm McDermott Will & Emery represented Apex Clean Energy in the sale of its 300-megawatt (MW) wind power project El Sauz, to JERA Americas, a Houston-based subsidiary of global energy leader JERA Co. The project is set to power over 240,000 homes around the Texas area.

• The transaction was announced on December 1, 2021.

• McDermott acted as legal counsel for Apex.
