Munich, April 17, 2025 – McDermott Will & Emery has advised NORD/LB in connection with the financing of the merger of the payment software providers cisbox and windata. Both companies are part of the portfolio of the software investor Main Capital Partners.
Founded in 2005, cisbox offers cloud- and AI-based software solutions for the optimization of procure-to-pay processes, primarily in the healthcare, hospitality, services and public sectors.
windata GmbH, founded in 1993, specializes in solutions for electronic payment transactions and enables the automation of secure payment transactions, especially in the banking sector and SMEs.
NORD/LB Norddeutsche Landesbank is one of the leading German commercial banks. As a public-law institution, it is part of the S-Finanzgruppe.
McDermott had already advised NORD/LB in 2024 on the financing of the acquisition of cisbox by Main Capital.
The McDermott team was led by partners Ludwig Zesch and Matthias Weissinger comprised associates Tim Becker and Romy Lanz.
