Munich, December 15, 2023  – McDermott Will & Emery has advised German packaging producer Edelmann Group on its refinancing. The financing was arranged by Commerzbank. In total a bank consortium of six banks was involved.

The Edelmann Group, a family-owend business since 1913, is a producer of high-quality packaging solutions and patient information leaflets made of cardboard and paper for the health care, beauty care and consumer brands sectors. The company has more than 3,000 employees in Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Eastern Europe, India and China, and generates a revenue of more than €300 million.

The McDermott team was led by Ludwig Zesch and included partner Uwe Goetker, counsel Marcus Fischer as well as associates Tim Becker and Eva Kanela.
