International law firm McDermott Will & Emery has advised a Hamburg-based private equity firm, CE Capital Partners, on the sale of a majority stake in Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte, operating under the name of FWH Stahlguss GmbH (FWH), and CE Mühlheim Verwaltungs-GmbH, responsible for services and administrative tasks, to the defense contractor Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW).
Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte is a traditional manufacturer of high-quality cast steel products based in Mülheim an der Ruhr.
The closing of the transaction is subject to the approval of the relevant authorities.
