Overview

For the seventh consecutive year of its partnership with the Fulbright Program, McDermott Will & Schulte is awarding a merit-based scholarship to two students. These scholarships will allow them to continue their studies at the university of their choice in the United States.

The candidates selected by the Fulbright Commission, following a two-stage preselection process, appeared before a jury* composed of the Executive Director of Fulbright France, several partners of the firm, and the Director of Human Resources. They were able to present their background as well as their academic and professional plans.

The firm, and in particular the members of the jury, are delighted to announce that, for this 7th edition of the partnership with the Fulbright program, two laureates have been selected:

  • Fatou Amy Ndiaye, who will join the University of Pennsylvania
  • Guillaume Herlin, who will join New York University

The excellence of their academic and professional backgrounds, their determination and their commitment were decisive factors in the jury’s decision.

Fatou and Guillaume stood out for their academic excellence and their commitment. We are delighted to enable them to pursue an LL.M. in the United States, at universities equal to their ambitions, and proud to support two rising legal talents by contributing to their professional development.” commented Sabine Naugès, Partner, on behalf of the jury members.

The firm also hosted a cocktail reception in honor of the laureates, bringing together the McDermott team and the jury members to celebrate this new class of scholars.
