McDermott’s Paris office will host a round table discussion on the subject of data transfers, with the participation of Nana Botchorichvili, Legal and Policy Officer at the CNIL- International and European Affairs Department, as well as Mathieu Coulaud, General Counsel of Microsoft France.
Romain Perray, head of the Data Protection/Cybersecurity in Paris will act as moderator. The session will deal with the following themes:
- changes introduced by the GDPR of the rules for data transfers outside of the European Union
- the impact of case-law of the Court of Justice on new strategies for companies to consider
- the consequences of the Cloud Act on Privacy Shield
