On April 4, 2024, CMS issued a final rule for Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, and PACE Organizations (the Final Rule).
The Final Rule finalizes several proposals from a proposed rule issued in November 2023 and unexpectedly finalizes a number of proposals from prior years. Topics included in the Final Rule include agent and broker compensation, supplemental benefits, utilization management policies and Part D medication therapy management programs, among many others.
