ABA Virtual 2022 Midyear Tax Meeting

Andrew Roberson will be a panelist at ABA Virtual 2022 Midyear Tax Meeting on the topic of Ethical Considerations in Pro Bono Representations. This panel will examine an attorney’s professional obligations relating to pro bono representation, whether practicing before the IRS or before the Tax Court. The discussion will focus on dilemmas attorneys face when representing tax clients at settlement days, calendar calls, and via direct representation outside of the courtroom. Panelists will also provide advice on how to avoid the perils related to pro bono representation of taxpayer clients.
