Johannes Eckhardt advises private equity and venture capital funds as well as strategic investors on transactions in the healthcare, life sciences and technology sectors.
He supports financial sponsor clients throughout the investment lifecycle, including acquisitions, divestitures, investments and portfolio matters. His experience includes a wide range of transaction types such as leveraged buyouts, growth investments, joint ventures, and carve-out deals.
Johannes has particular experience in the health services and life sciences industries, with a strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and commercial drivers shaping these sectors.
Prior to joining McDermott Will & Schulte, he worked in-house at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany gaining valuable insights into the operational and legal challenges on the corporate side.
