Overview
Audrey Pumariega represents clients in high-stakes commercial, healthcare, and employment litigation.
Her clients include financial institutions, technology and telecommunications companies, accounting firms, hospitals, physician groups, health insurers, and managed services organizations. She regularly appears in federal and state courts, arbitration tribunals, and administrative proceedings, including before the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration and the Florida Board of Medicine.
Audrey rejoined the firm after serving as an assistant county attorney in the Miami-Dade County Attorney’s Office, where she handled a high volume of civil litigation in state and federal court.
Audrey leverages her courtroom skills in an active pro bono practice. Past pro bono advocacy includes securing relief for a pregnant foster teen facing involuntary psychiatric placement, representing a detained immigrant in asylum proceedings, obtaining extended state benefits for a disabled young adult in foster care, assisting a family in foreclosure in securing funds for future housing, and securing a payout to a small nonprofit defendant in a copyright lawsuit where the plaintiff anticipated an easy victory.
