Overview
John T. Lutz will be speaking at the ALM Bank & Capital Markets Tax Institute (BTI) 2023 taking place from November 8–10 in Orlando, Florida. On the second day of the conference, John will be presenting on the panel “Taxation of Derivatives”, which will provide an overview of the tax issues that arise from the most common uses of derivatives at banking organizations, including hedging and customer transactions. The panel will also discuss best practices for managing the tax reporting and compliance obligations arising from these activities.
