Carlo Maria Paolella advises clients on domestic and international tax issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, capital markets and collective investment vehicles, and tax controversy. He also regularly advises on the tax profiles of employee incentive plans, debt restructuring and financial instruments.
Carlo advises Italian and multinational companies on numerous tax law issues, providing opinions in both Italian and English.
Andrea Tempestini heads the Italian Tax Practice. He advises clients on domestic and international tax issues relating to mergers and acquisitions transactions, corporate restructurings and the use of financial instruments, as well as other tax matters relating to their ordinary activities. He represents Italian and international companies from various industries on a broad spectrum of tax matters and often leads teams of tax advisors from various jurisdictions working on cross-border projects.
Andrea completed an internship with the Dutch and Luxembourg offices of a leading law firm. He has also lectured and conducted seminars and workshops on several tax matters at various institutions and at large corporations.
Giuseppe Mazzarella provides tax consultancy for medium and large companies as well as for Italian and non-Italian resident individuals. He covers a broad spectrum of domestic and international tax matters in connection with corporate and personal income tax, transfer pricing, value-added tax (VAT), inheritance and gift tax, and other indirect taxes.
