McDermott Will & Schulte, with a team led by Vincenzo Giannantonio and Giulia Fossati Zunino and composed of Vera Greco and Sofia Cecchet, who handled all corporate and M&A aspects of the transaction, as well as Domenico Patruno, who oversaw the banking aspects, assisted the La Prensa Group (owned, among others, by Unigrains and BNP Paribas BNL Equity Investments), a leading company in Italy in the printing and finishing of labels for various types of products, mainly food and pet food, in the acquisition of the entire share capital of Scriba.

The transaction is part of La Prensa Group’s consolidation strategy as a leading operator in the sector, with the aim of strengthening its market presence through the integration of industrial and commercial expertise, thereby enhancing its competitive advantage.

The sellers were assisted by Pavia e Ansaldo with a team composed of Giuseppe Besozzi, Erica Lepore, and Roberta Rotunno.

The notarial aspects were handled by Notary Ciro De Vivo and lawyer Mario Lado of the Notarial Firm Ciro De Vivo.

Bernoni Grant Thornton (with a team composed of Gianni Bitetti, Sara Flisi, and Valentina Adly) acted as tax advisor to the buyers, while Grant Thornton Financial Advisory Services acted as financial advisor.

Millelire Corporate Finance, with a team composed of Andrea Muncher and Paola Sulpizio, served as financial and M&A advisor to the sellers.
