Partners Melissa Goldstein and Nishi Gupta will speak at the Money Transmitter Regulators Association (MTRA) 2026 Annual Conference on the panel “Evolving AML Frameworks: Bridging Legacy Rules, Emerging FinCEN Requirements, and Crypto Risk.” The session will examine how existing state and federal AML laws compare with evolving risk-based AML program obligations and the regulatory approach to digital assets, including proposed rules addressing AML program requirements for financial institutions, MSBs and permitted payment stablecoin issuers.
Partner Adam Barazani will speak on the panel “Evolving and Evaluating the MSB Call Report,” joining regulators and industry representatives to discuss proposed updates to the MSB Call Report, regulatory requirements, common implementation challenges and strategies for adapting reporting processes to an evolving landscape.
In connection with the conference, Melissa will also speak at the Women in Money Transmission Brunch on September 15 as part of Panel I: New Rules, New Risks, New Opportunities. The panel will cover The Genius Act, OCC Bank Charters, AML NPR, AI in Compliance & Risk.
