During the conference, Clarinda Tjia-Dharmadi and Merrick White will be hosting the workshop “Special Focus on Indonesia”, taking place on September 7 from 2pm.
This workshop recognizes Indonesia’s pivotal role in the regional and global decarbonization efforts, and so will focus on Indonesia’s policy on renewable energy, the opportunities and challenges presented, and a “behind the scenes” perspective on key bankability issues and how investors and the Indonesian government are bridging the gap to make successful renewable investments to achieve Indonesia’s net-zero emissions targets, including the export of renewable energy and hydrogen, as well as the Indonesia government’s efforts to boost investments in gas as the primary transition fuel.
Siddhartha Sivaramakrishnan will also be moderating the session “Environmental, Social, Governance: Energy and Climate Policy” taking place on September 7 from 11:30am.
