FinTech Roundtable

On May 31, 2018, McDermott will host a roundtable discussion at our Paris offices, focusing on the current trends and developments in the Fintech sector. Romain Perray, Head of Data Protection/Cybersecurity in Paris will act as moderator, and will be joined by Professor Nathalie Martial-Braz. The session will take an in-depth look at the following issues:

• The ramifications of the GDPR in the Fintech sector
• The relationship between the GDPR and the DSP2 directive including the impact on the security and confidentiality of data.

This event is held in conjunction with McDermott’s sponsorship of the “Master’s 2 | Electronic Commerce and Digital Economy Law” at La Sorbonne Law School. Students are welcome to attend and participate.
