Kyle Faget discusses prediction market risks in pharmaceutical vendor contracts with Pharmaceutical Executive

In a recent Pharmaceutical Executive article, Kyle Faget discusses how prediction markets on clinical trial outcomes and regulatory decisions are creating new risk for pharmaceutical sponsors, particularly where outside vendors such as CROs and labs have early access to nonpublic trial data.

Kyle explained that standard master services agreements likely already reach a vendor or consultant who trades on confidential information from their contracted work, even if the contract never mentions prediction markets. She said sponsors can close remaining gaps without rebuilding their agreements, for example by adding specific language to the non-use provision.
