Andrea D’Ettorre focuses his practice on advising multinational corporations, financial institutions, investment funds, and private clients on complex national and cross-border tax matters. He regularly assists clients on the tax aspects of M&A, private equity transactions, acquisition and corporate finance, capital markets transactions, real estate investments, debt restructurings and domestic and cross-border reorganizations.
With more than 13 years of experience, Andrea combines sophisticated transactional and advisory tax counsel to clients across a broad range of industries with significant experience assisting clients in proceedings before the Italian tax authorities, including tax rulings, audits, settlement procedures and refund claims.
Andrea is a regular contributor to leading tax journals and industry publications on Italian and international tax matters. He also lectures on international taxation and cross-border reorganizations and regularly participates as a speaker at tax conferences and seminars.
Before joining McDermott, Andrea practiced at leading Italian and international tax and law firms and at a Big Four accounting firm.
